Chris Hoard is an American writer and musician. Chris has written on Allan in several places. He is listed as a writer in the book [[Reaching For the Uncommon Chord]], he wrote interviews with Allan for the "Atavachron" website, he co-founded the record label [[Alternity Records]], which released two Holdsworth albums as well as one album by [[Riptyde]], featuring Hoard himself and Allan. He wrote the liner notes for Allan's compilation "Eidolon" and the box set "The Man Who Changed Guitar Forever".
