[[File:Heavymachinery.jpeg|200px|right]]"Heavy Machinery" is a 1996 album credited to [[Anders Johansson, Jens Johansson & Allan Holdsworth]]. On the album, Allan is featured as a main artist along with the Johansson brothers. However, Allan did not compose any of the tunes, and his contributions (mostly solos) were recorded by himself as overdubs in his home studio. So the musical vision is very much the Johansson's. That said, it's a very enjoyable album. The music is perhaps best described as "progressive fusion", and Allan plays extended solos on almost every track. By his own admission, he enjoyed the project. | |||
