"Legendary Guitarist" is a special issue of the Japanese guitar magazine "Young Guitar", released by Shinko Music in 2017 as a "Music Mook", a combination of a magazine and a book. It consists of 164 pages with the following contents: a biography, a small collection of condolences by Japanese guitarists, a reprint in Japanese of Anil Prasad's two interviews with Allan, a fairly detailed discography, eleven interviews from 1983 to 2014 that appear to have been published in previous magazine editions, plus a conversation between Allan and Akira Wada, an extended section on Allan's gear with rare photos from Allan's home studio and notes on his setup and sound, an extended section of musical analysis of chords, scales, technique and transcription extracts. Finally, there are complete guitar transcriptions of "In The Dead Of Night" , "Where Is One", "Road Games" and "How Deep Is The Ocean". The headlines are written in English, but everything else is written in Japanese.
