GARY HUSBAND: POSTCARDS FROM THE PAST
On August 15, Gary Husband release “Postcards From The Past” on CD and digital, on BandCamp. The albums contains the following Holdsworth recordings: 1.) “Water On The Brain” from the IOU sessions. Previously released on Allan’s out-of-print “Tales From The Vault”, Gary’s version has been remixed by Robert Feist. 2.) “The Things You See”, 1979 demo with Hansford Rowe and Ray Warleigh. This demo may have circulated online, but it is the first time it gets an official release. In addition to these, the album features Steve Topping, Paul Carmichael and Paul Williams on other tracks, as well as Gary’s demos of “City Nights”, of special interest to Allan’s fans. The double album also contains other historical recordings from Gary’s archives, from 1978 to 2021. Preorder on Gary’s Bandcamp.
