Details have not been confirmed, but in conjunction with the publication of Ed Chang's book on Allan Holdsworth, publisher Jazz In Britain will release a companion album. A preview of this album has been released on YouTube. The preview features what sounds like a rehearsal tape with Allan on guitar, Allan's mentor Ray Warleigh on flute, Ron Mathewson on double bass, and Bryan Spring on drums. The tune sounds like it might be one of Ray's tunes. The recording stems from private tapes that have recently been unearthed in the archives of Ron Mathewson. The album therefore carries the subtitle "The Ron Mathewson Tapes Vol. 1".
