Gitarre & Bass (1997): Difference between revisions

After the review in G&B's January 1997 issue, many calls and letters were received with the plea, "I can't find the CD anywhere...!!!" You can order Allan Holdsworth's latest CD, "None Too Soon," and his 1992 instructional video from the G&B shop in this issue.

There are rumors about Allan's involvement in further productions that may be released in the future.

Allegedly, at the end of the previous year, Allan collaborated with some colleagues from the 1985 production "Soma." They are said to have created a modern rock album titled "Neverwasneverwillbe - No Title Available," which might be released later this year. Early statements from those involved sound promising: "infectious, funky, pocket-groove metal and acid new rage, and a major new showcase for Allan’s rock sensibilities," or "kinda Mahavishnu-meets-Alice-In-Chains." Stay tuned.

Allan Holdsworth might also be heard again soon as a studio guest with his rocker friends from Gorky Park.

Steve Hunt, the keyboardist from Holdsworth's album "Hard Hat Area," has just completed his first solo CD. Allan plays guitar and SynthAxe on two tracks, with additional guests including Icelandic bassist Skuli Sverrisson and drummer Chad Wackerman.
