The band played almost all original songs, mostly written and sung by Allan. The music was psychedelic 60's pop fused with jazz. The album was recorded mostly live in the studio, in a very short time span. The engineers would not let the band turn up the amps in the studio, and Allan found the experience to be dismal. His guitar style is there in embryonic form. Co-guitarist Steve Robinson played in a very similar style.
