Tempest was drummer Jon Hiseman’s band, modelled on Cream, but with a progressive sound. They released their eponymous debut album in 1973. Plenty guitar solos! “Strangeher” is a good example, with a simple boogie rock riff, which Allan takes to outer space in his solo. “Upon Tomorrow” features Allan on violin. Paul Williams on vocals. Allan is starting to get his recorded sound in order.
