Highway Star (single)

"Highway Star" is a single by Snew, released digitally in 2009. Allan does a guitar and SynthAxe solo on this cover of Deep Purple’s “Highway Star”. The cover stays pretty faithful to Purple’s original, but then Allan takes the guitar solo outer space. Even stranger, Allan uses an organ patch for his SynthAxe solo, and Jon Lord proceeds to meet John Coltrane!
