Blue Tav (album)
"Blue Tav" is a 1990 album by Steve Tavaglione. Allan plays guitar AND SynthAxe solos on the track “Tsunami”. This a high energy fusion shuffle a la Brecker Bros, with Vinnie Colaiuta’s drums and Jimmy Johnson’s bass. Allan first plays a rather short but sweet guitar solo, followed by some wicked trading of licks. Next, he plays a longer SynthAxe solo, which is one of his best IMHO. The album has also been released under David Beardsley’s name.
