Blue Tav (album)

Allan plays guitar AND SynthAxe solos on the track “Tsunami” on this album by Steve Tavaglione, which has been released under David Beardsley’s name. This a high energy fusion shuffle a la Brecker Bros, with [[Vinnie Colaiuta[[’s drums and Jimmy Johnson’s bass. Allan first plays a rather short but sweet guitar solo, followed by some wicked trading of licks. Next, he plays a longer SynthAxe solo, which is one of his best IMHO.
